Who we are

Rooted & Rogue has been a gathering place for beauty, creativity, and self-expression in Spokane, WA since 2017. We built this salon for people who want more than a standard appointment. We wanted a space where you could get your hair done, treat your skin, update your nails, and walk out feeling fully yourself.

Our team works across hair, esthetics, nails, tiny tattoos, spray tans, and permanent jewelry. No matter what you're coming in for, you'll get a personalized experience from artists who actually care about the result. We take the time to understand what you want and how you live, so the work we do together holds up past the appointment.

We keep our space relaxed on purpose. Spokane has no shortage of salons, and we wanted ours to feel different. Approachable, inclusive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment you walk in. We use high-quality professional products across every service, because great results shouldn't fade the second you leave.

Behind the Name

Rooted & Rogue started with a simple idea: create a space in Spokane where exceptional hair meets real individuality. The original concept came from Mateo, and when Lucia joined the team, we wanted a name that reflected both the partnership and the direction we were heading together. In early 2020, Rooted & Rogue was born.

The name says a lot about how we work.

Rooted represents our foundation. The technical training, the professional techniques, the ongoing education that keeps our team sharp. It is the part of this salon that never cuts corners.

Rogue is the other side. The willingness to try something new, push a creative boundary, and build something that actually fits the person sitting in the chair.

Put them together and you get what we have been doing in Spokane since day one: hair that is grounded in skill and shaped by the individual.

Salon Policies

  • We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to accommodate other clients who may be on our waiting list. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • We value your time and strive to stay on schedule. If you’re running late, please let us know—we will always do our best to accommodate you within the time available.

  • To maintain a calm and luxurious salon environment, we ask that children only accompany you if they have an appointment scheduled with us.
